Due to “family concerns”, EXODUS guitarist Lee Altus will not be able to join his bandmates on their European tour this summer. Replacing it will Brandon Ellis of THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER.
Earlier today, EXODUS issued the following statement via social media: “EXODUS announce with regret that Lee Altus won’t be joining us on our next European tour. Family concerns dictate that he stays close to home and being so far from home is not possible. EXODUS stay strong with Lee and destroy in his name, and he will join us for upcoming tours such as the fall leg of “The Bay Strikes Back”. We support our brother in everything and he will come back! Joining us on this trek is none other than Brandon Ellis of THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER so let’s welcome him as one of EXODUS family! Brandon is one of the sickest guitarists in the world and he’s sure to kill him! See you soon in Europe and the UK!”
Brandon added, “I’m beyond grateful to have the opportunity to take the stage with the legendary guys from EXODUS and crush outdoor festivals and clubs in July and August. I wish Lee the best and will cover his right-wing position with honor and respect!”
EXODUS continues his tour to support his latest album, “Persona non grata”released last November via Nuclear Explosion Records.
