This Alberta lake has been ranked as the world’s most beautiful natural wonder

The most beautiful natural wonders of the world have just been classified and a lake in Alberta took the first place!

The research was conducted by the tourism company Kuoni, who discovered that Peyto Lake is the most eye-catching wonder in the world.

It probably hurts everyone who lives in British Columbia, who prides themselves on having the most beautiful province in the area. Looking at the lake, it is undeniable that this place is beautiful.

The Kuoni site said the lake is “known for its turquoise blue color, which is even more impressive in contrast to the dark forest surrounding the shore”.

The bright blue water comes from the glacier, which also makes it quite cold.

You can hike to see the lake and the beautiful mountains that surround it.

It is in Banff National Park which is a great tourist destination because there is so much to do and it is absolutely breathtaking everywhere.

If you want a great view of the lake, try doing the Peyto Lake Panorama Overlook hike, which is 1.5 miles (2.4 kilometers). This is an easy hiking loop that will give you a view you will never forget.

Not only did this destination beat the spots of British Columbia, but it overtook Meeru Island in the Maldives! Being a step up from the iconic Maldives, which is a hot spot for a great vacation on Instagram, is pretty cool.

The lake also beat Yosemite, Niagara Falls, and the Jurassic Coast!

It’s safe to say that if you haven’t had a chance to make it to Peyto Lake yet, you should hurry up!
